Welcome to the Town of Parry Sound!

Hugging the shores of Georgian Bay, the Town of Parry Sound is the world renowned jewel of the 30,000 Islands of Georgian  Bay.    Located approximately 2 hours north of Toronto, and forty-five minutes away by air,  Parry Sound is the commercial hub servicing a year-round population of 18,000 and a seasonal population of 60,000 plus.

Parry Sound is rich in arts, culture and heritage.  The Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame is home to the international chamber summer music festival, the Festival of the Sound.   The Hall of Fame pays tribute to our home-town hockey hero, Bobby Orr.

The 2014 Parry Sound Municipal Election will be telephone and internet voting only.  All eligible voters who are on the Voters List will be sent a Voter Instruction Letter some time at the beginning of October.  The Voter Instruction Letter will have your instructions and your personal PIN number to allow you to vote.  Voting can take place starting 10:00 a.m. October 14 to 8:00 p.m. October 27, 2014.  Check now to ensure you are on the Voters List so you will receive your Voter Instructio Letter.  Link to Voter Look-Up Available September 2, 2014.  Hard copies are also available at the Parry Sound Public Library 29 Mary Street, Parry Sound Municipal Office 52 Seguin Street, Lakeland Power-Parry Sound 125 William Street and Parry Sound Fire Hall 4 Church Street.
