HEART AND STROKE BIG BIKE SET TO ROLL INTO PARRY SOUND!

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario's annual Big Bike Ride will happen on Wednesday, September 8th, 2010. This event will be held out of the Bay Street Cafe, located at 22 Bay Street.
The Big Bike is one of the Heart and Stroke Foundations' most FUN-raising fundraising events. Causing a commotion wherever it goes, the event is named after the BIG 30-SEAT BIKE. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders and one driver (provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation) will pedal around town and around the racetrack, raising funds, attention and laughs along the way. The Big Bike travels to over 200 communities across Canada, raising $7.7 million for research, and health promotion and education.
There are currently four teams registered and the ride schedule is as follows:

Curves "Curvettes" 6:00pm
Richelle/Karin Peddle 4 Heart 7:00pm
Post ride refreshments graciously provided by Bay Street Cafe.

The War of 1812
The Archives of Ontario Travelling Exhibit, the War of 1812 will be at the West Parry Sound District Museum from September to October 31st 2010.
Water Restrictions are in effect from May 1 through September 30, 2010 (by-law 2007-5063).
Watering is only permitted during the hours of:
7:00 am - 10:00 am and 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
EVEN numbered addresses may lawn water ONLY ON EVEN NUMBERED DAYS
ODD numbered addresses may lawn water ONLY ON ODD NUMBERED DAYS
Violation of this by-law shall be charged in accordance with the Provincial Offices Act.
This applies to Flat Rate Water Customers.
