PARRY SOUND VOTES 2010
Voting is a fundamental right of our democracy. When you vote, you are selecting representatives who will make the laws and policies that determine how our Town functions and how we live together.
Municipal government is considered by many to be the most accessible form of government to the electorate. It is involved in many aspects of our daily lives--from fixing roads, to providing water, from picking up waste and recyclables, to running public transit, from supporting the arts to mapping out economic development. Become informed and browse the Town's website to learn about the issues facing Parry Sound and Town Council's many areas of responsibilities.
►Town of Parry Sound's Voters' List
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is responsible for producing the Town's preliminary list of eligible electors. The voters' list is a list of eligible electors in the Town of Parry Sound. Compiled each year by MPAC and revised with your assistance, it aids Parry Sound Elections Staff in their preparation and execution of Election Day. Being on the voters' list ensures that you will receive important election messaging like the Voter Information Card, which tells you where and when to vote, and will also speed up your time spent at the voting location.
