Department of Finance & Administration
The Finance and Administration Department plays a strong role in two of Council's strategic priorities: Infrastructure & Community Assets and Quality Organization. The most significant role of the department is developing and implementing strategies that consider the current and long term financial interests of the Corporation. This includes the development of a five-year financial strategy that will provide direction on expenditures, debt, tax levels, user fees, reserves and revenue opportunities on financial considerations.
On a Corporate basis, the department oversees and administers human resources, Information Technology, records management, budgets, insurance and assets.
