Leisure Services is a core service and is offered through the Department of Economic Development and Leisure Services.

To provide support to enable the community to access a diverse range of opportunities.
Leisure Services strengthens non-profit and volunteer community groups and organizations by providing them with support services through the Community Affiliation Plan, Municipal Assistance Program and the Joint Use Agreement.
The Town of Parry Sound recognizes and appreciates the relationship between a healthy community and an active volunteer base and works with these groups to provide training and volunteer networking opportunities, and assistance with the delivery of special events.

Public Skating
Public skating is a good way for the family to spend time together and get excercise at the same time.
We offer public skating most Saturdays at the Bobby Orr Community Centre 2011 - 2012 Public Skating Schedule and at the outdoor rink at Kinsmen Park Kinsmen Outdoor Rink Skating Schedule.
Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame
The Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame is the Parry Sound Area's foremost entertainment centre, featuring year-round concerts, theatre, book readings and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Museum.
