The Town of Parry Sound owns and operates the Parry Sound Waste Water Treatment Plant.  This Class III facility receives waste water from residents and businesses within the Town of Parry Sound.

The Town of Parry Sound’s Waste Water Operators are responsible for the maintenance & operation of the town’s sanitary sewer mains, storm sewer systems & maintenance of the town's pump stations. Typically, the town owns the sewer lines that are located on town property and property owners own the sewer lines on their property.  The only exception is when the town has a registered easement specifically for the subject sewer which crosses private property.

We will provide sewer locates upon request, but please contact your local provider for hydro, cable & natural gas.

Emergencies

If you suspect sewer problems at your home, please contact a plumber.  If they require our assistance, they will contact us directly.  Grease or any articles causing blockage of the sewer lateral are the responsibility of the user/owner even if the blockage is found in town infrastructure.
