There are a number of parks and parkettes within the Town of Parry Sound, most located next to Georgian Bay, Mill Lake or the Seguin River, providing a quiet and relaxing setting.

There are two beaches in the town of Parry Sound, both located on Georgian Bay. Waubuno Beach, located at the bottom of Prospect St., is supervised with life guards on duty from July 1 – Aug. 31 each year. The second beach, which locals refer to as the "old" town beach, is located at the bottom of Waubuno Rd.  This beach is not supervised.

Play equipment is available for children at:  Booth St. Park, Cherry St. Park, Kinsmen Centennial Park, Mission Park, Waubuno Beach & William St. Park. 

Kinsmen Centennial Park is home to a covered outdoor rink, baseball fields and soccer fields.

If it is scenery you are interested in, then you should visit the Town Dock, Market Square Park, Tower Hill, the Water Treatment Plant Parkette or Yvonne Williams Park. A stroll down the Rotary & Algonquin Regiment Fitness Trail also provides beautiful scenery along Georgian Bay.

If you are into fitness more than scenery, then we have something for you as well. There are outdoor tennis & basketball courts as well as a skateboard & in-line skate park available.  You can take a walk, jog or bike ride on the Rotary & Algonquin Regiment Fitness Trail and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

Of course, we can’t forget the Bobby Orr Community Centre which is used by numerous local groups for hockey & skating.  There is also a banquet hall complete with kitchen and a bar available to rent.
