Our location on spectacular Georgian Bay, adjacent to the 30,000 Islands, has made our community a prime visitor destination for several generations - in fact, the summer population of the region swells from 15,000 to over 75,000 thanks to the many thousands of cottages in the region, over 100 resorts, several provincial parks, and more than a dozen Georgian Bay marinas.   Looking for things to do in Ontario? The old CP Station on Avenue Road once again welcomes tourists from near and afar. After undergoing extensive renovations, the historic building has been reborn as the Parry Sound Station Gallery, a new public art gallery, studio and gift shop.

Events and monthly exhibitions showcase local artists and craftspeople. The Parry Sound Arts & Crafts gift shop is in the old ticket office and the rotunda holds an historic railway display that illustrates the history of the CPR in Parry Sound and pays tribute to the Station's role in our community.   There's always some thing to do in Parry Sound Ontario.
