Parry Sound Tourism

The old CP Station on Avenue Road once again welcomes tourists from near and afar. After undergoing extensive renovations, the historic building has been reborn as the Parry Sound Station Gallery, a new public art gallery, studio and gift shop.

Events and monthly exhibitions showcase local artists and craftspeople. The Parry Sound Arts & Crafts gift shop is in the old ticket office and the rotunda holds an historic railway display that illustrates the history of the CPR in Parry Sound and pays tribute to the Station's role in our community.

Parry Sound offers full urban amenities in a spectacular natural setting. Ontario Tourism Travel

The Park-to-Park Trail is an initiative to create an east-west, 200 kilometre year round recreational trail link in Ontario between the Towns of Parry Sound and Huntsville and Killbear and Algonquin Parks. The trail will provide connections to several other communities, provincial parks, trail networks, features, tourism attractions and services in Parry Sound, Muskoka and Haliburton Districts. A 50 kilometre portion of the travel route has also been registered as part of the Trans Canada Trail, a country-wide effort to create the longest recreational trail system in the world!

Bobby Orr Hall of Fame

Come see the many pieces of memorabilia from Bobby Orr's most famous moments as a professional player. See the stick and puck he used to score the Stanley Cup clinching goal in 1970. See his original locker from the Boston Garden, two Stanley Cup rings, original NHL contract and of course many of his famous No. 4 jerseys. The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame is part of the Charles W. Stockey Centre.

Stockey Centre

The Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts sits on a 3.5-acre waterfront site at the foot of Bay Street. Made of local pink granite and wood, its 480-seat Festival Performance Hall is acoustically perfect, and beautiful. Within the Centre you will find the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame interactive hockey museum and a gift shop for memorabilia, fun for kids of all ages.

Whether it's sightseeing in your own boat or on the 30,000 Island Cruise Boat, camping or enjoying cottage life, swimming, snorkeling, water-skiing, fishing or just enjoying the sun on a sandy beach, when Georgian Bay is involved, you just can't get enough!
